Minimally Invasive education 1b-3- 4b
My main issue with this method is it had no structure. Yes i know the students will learn and they do but it did not take place in a school setting and it would be difficult to have computers for students to access as they please without some monitoring.
Spontaneous learning 1b-3- 4a
It was funny to me that what we see naturally occurring in our children needed such deep research (lol). Children learn, what they learn and how they learn it depend on the environment. There is a valid point that we as teachers are to busy making our job look so hard that we have a problem simplifying things bringing our knowledge down to the concrete has become difficult for us to achieve.

Module: 2A -4 - Activity 3-"Classroom Material"
This has been most fun! This is the most fun I have had so far in this module. Many new ideas were shared and it helped make my lessons more attractive.
MODULE: 2A-4-Activity 2
It was very interesting to see the may uses of the word processor that my colleagues posted . I found it especially helpful in creating commonly used documents that can be saved and used as templates and as such save time.

Module 2A-4: Activity 1 :ICT and role of the educator
In today’s knowledge based society teachers need to be equipped with the know-how of ICT use and how to apply them in their teaching environment to make lessons more student centered.
The use of ICT applications by teachers can make the teaching and learning experience an exciting one for both teachers and students. Most students come to us with some ICT experience and all we as teachers need to do is to guide them with the appropriate instructions to the conclusion we would like them to arrive at.
In today’s knowledge economy schools need to adopt an integrated approach towards learning. With ICT use as a source of information gathering as well as disseminating, teachers as well as school managers can follow the teaching process to make sure that the curriculum is being adhered to. Parents can also track the progress of their child and as such feel like a part of the learning process.
Module 1B-3:Activity 3: Audit of my school's ICT use
My school a newly established institution put in place for students who were not successful at the national assessment and are now being prepared with life skills to function in the real world. We currently have use of 16 computers which are a part of the community access centre therefore we have no way to add or delete programming to these computers. The computer that we do have full access to in the secretary’s office is not working and has never been since the school opened in September 2011. While information technology is one of the subjects we offer we do not have a teacher for the over 280 students at the school. Sadly the school has no other ICT equipment.
